Representative Adelita Grijalva was sworn in on November 12, 2025. Since the day she took her oath, she has voted 98.4% of the times she has had an opportunity to vote. She has submitted 11 pieces of legislation. Although Rep. Adelita Grijalva has publicly advocated for legal pathways to citizenship for undocumented immigrants, the immigration bills she has personally introduced or cosponsored in the 119th Congress do not establish a legalization program for undocumented immigrants. What does this tell us? Having had the opportunity to effectively make a change, she has not even tried. It appears that she would rather protest against ICE, defend illegal immigrants who have warrants, rather than providing them a pathway to become residents and eventually United States Citizens. This is not the way America works! We elect Congress Representatives in order to introduce laws, vote on them, whether 'YEA' or 'NAY', with the expectation that they would fulfill their promises and maintain true to the character they said they upheld. Failed promises for the people of Southern Arizona!

We have historic documents to prove and directly tie the Colonization of America as a means to advance the Christian Faith (The Mayflower Compact). And the very First Continental Congress session's prayer. Our Founding Fathers not only mostly believed in God, but prayed to God the Father in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ. The result of that session became what we know now as the Declaration of Rights and Grievances.

Considering that over 8,000 undocumented migrants have died while attempting to cross the U.S.-Mexico border since 1998, with hundreds of fatalities recorded annually primarily due to extreme heat and exposure in desert terrains like the Sonoran Desert, the wall is useful not only to prevent illegal migrants from crossing, but from taking an unnecessary step that could lead to their death.
