Bob Dohse: A Life of Service, Leadership, and Mission
Bob Dohse has spent his life serving his country and helping people in some of the world's most difficult places.
From 1976 to 1996, Bob served in the United States Air Force, retiring as a Master Sergeant. His military career included work in conflict zones while attached to Defense Department intelligence organizations, giving him firsthand experience with the challenges of national security, crisis response, logistics, and leadership under pressure.
But Bob's commitment to service didn't end when he left the Air Force.
Later in life, he became a Christian missionary and humanitarian, taking his experience and compassion overseas to serve communities affected by war, poverty, and instability. His humanitarian work has taken him to places which include Albania, Kosovo, Afghanistan, Turkey, and Iraq.
Bob's educational background includes a high school diploma from Sweetwater Union High School and a bachelor's degree from Park University, which he earned in 1983.
His journey—from military service and intelligence-related work to international humanitarian missions—has given him a perspective shaped by responsibility, resilience, sacrifice, and service to others.
Now Bob Dohse is bringing that lifetime of experience home to Arizona.
As a candidate for the Arizona House of Representatives in Legislative District 18, Dohse is offering voters a candidate whose background extends far beyond traditional political experience. His campaign describes his priorities as strengthening Arizona's economy, enforcing fiscal discipline, protecting taxpayers, and making government operate efficiently and transparently.
For Bob Dohse, public service isn't simply a political ambition. It is a continuation of a lifetime devoted to serving his country, helping others, and taking on difficult challenges.
